Sophie, Sailing Yacht Broker at Berthon International, first joined the company in 2016. After returning from maternity leave following the birth of her second child, she brings a wealth of experience across both brokerage and internal operations, including her recent role as Sales Support Manager. Sophie has a strong understanding of bluewater cruising yachts and the wider brokerage process, supported by a hands-on background in sailing and offshore passages. Her early exposure to life afloat, followed by a degree in Navigation and Maritime Science, set the foundation for a career in yachting. With experience ranging from Atlantic crossings to professional yacht operations, Sophie combines practical knowledge with a client-focused approach, making her a trusted and versatile member of the Berthon team.
